In the past term, implementing the Party's foreign policy and the City's policy of strengthening people's foreign affairs, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Hanoi city has successfully completed the goals and targets set by the Government. The Association has promoted information, propaganda, and awareness raising for the staff of the Executive Committee, branches and members about people-to-people diplomacy, peace and friendship; Well organize propaganda activities on the occasion of major holidays of the capital, the country, the day of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cambodia; Focus on exploiting socialization resources to serve the Association's activities and the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; Maintaining, consolidating and developing the relationship of solidarity and friendship with the Embassy of Cambodia in Vietnam; Actively coordinate in organizing concrete and practical activities to promote solidarity, peace and friendship between the peoples and capitals of the two countries; Regularly pay attention to consolidating and perfecting the organization and staff of the Association, gathering and attracting many members to participate

Specifically, by July 2022, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association in Hanoi has 11 branches, with over 2,015 members, an increase of 815 members compared to the beginning of the term. During the term, the Association directed the launching ceremony of 3 new branches with a total of 620 members. Activities for solidarity, peace and friendship, strengthening cohesion, member organizations and units that love Cambodia in Vietnam are interested, maintained and developed.

At the Congress, the participants discussed and agreed on the direction of operation for the 2022-2027 term, which is to continue to promote and improve the Association's activities to be flexible and consistent with reality, in order to continue building , strengthen the traditional friendship and solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia in general, and between the two capitals Hanoi and Phnom Penh in particular.

Appreciating the results that the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Hanoi city has achieved in the fourth term, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association Le Van Tuy suggested the Association promote propaganda. among members and people of all walks of life on the traditional friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia; strengthen the organization of friendly exchanges with diverse sizes and forms, especially for the young generations of the two countries; actively respond to the "Friendship Incubation Program" launched by the Central Committee of the Association; attach importance to the building of the Association's organization and the development of its members; do good work of camaraderie, take good care of the spiritual and material life of members...

At the congress, the delegates unanimously voted 100% to elect the Executive Committee of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association, term 2022-2027, including 33 people.
